As another Super Bowl returns to Tampa, the City of Tampa is set to make the change that will last long after the game is done.

Currently, alcohol can't be sold in Tampa before 11 a.m. on Sundays. This has interfered with other events as well as those establishments which wanted to sell drinks on Sundays. The new law, as passed by a 5-1 majority of the City Council, will still need to move forward to a December 3rd meeting. Then, it would need to be signed by the Mayor.

The result? Alcohol could then be sold as early as 7 a.m. on Sundays.

Conventions, races and yes, the 'Big Game' are events that all will benefit from the change, as well as pubs, bars and restaurants. How do you feel about this change?
