New Option For Bay Area Moviegoers
2020 has not been kind to movie theaters. Revenue is way down, approximately 22 percent, thanks to closures during the pandemic.
But AMC has a new offering: “Grab 19 pals,” and then you can go to a theater and split the cost between your friends ($99). Then you’re all watching the film together.
Here’s how you reserve a theater: Fill out a form on AMC’s website.
You’re not always able to get a theater for $99. Sometimes the price is as high as $349. It all depends on what movie you want to see.
Also, you can have food catered and bring whatever kind of food you’d like to bring in, but you do have to pay the catering fee.
