Bars and restaurants in the Tampa area have taken a big hit this year due to the coronavirus, but some have not only survived, but are growing. That’s the case with The Copper Shaker. Creative Loafing reports the St. Petersburg bar will open a Tampa location on 7th Avenue in Ybor City. It’ll be where Flynn’s Retro Bar and Gaming used to be at 1502 E. 7th Ave. Door will open at 7pm on Wednesday, December 9.
Craft cocktails include The Smokestack with Whistle Pig Rye Whiskey, maple syrup, creole and orange bitters or “Cousin Named Jeff,” with tequila, red bell pepper, ginger, lime and agave. Apps include wings and the Jam-Smashed Slider with “bacon jam.” Members can stash away a bottle of Whiskey by joining their locker program. [Sources: CLTampa.com, The Copper Shaker]
