Doctor Prescribed Opioids In Exchange For Sexual Favors

Here's taking being a Dr. Feelgood to a new level.

A doctor in Staten Island came out and said he was running a pill mill. AND he requested sexual favors from patients in exchange for opioids!

His name is Joseph Santiamo. He's 65 years old. From 2012 to 2018, he was running a practice, claiming he specialized in internal and geriatric care. He'd write the oxycodone prescriptions for patients for cash and in some cases, hanky panky.

The heads up was that these young patients were being treated by a geriatric care doctor. Hmmm. That's a head scratcher.

Santiamo is free on $250,000 bond. He'll be sentenced in April 2021.
