If you partake in the Elf on the Shelf tradition, be mindful of where the elf gets hidden.

A family in Kansas accidentally baked their elf during their participation of the "Elf on the Shelf" tradition. Apparently the elf "hid" in the oven, and someone turned on the oven to preheat without looking inside first.
