Tampa Installing Interactive Kiosks In Downtown
A new addition coming to downtown Tampa will use new technology.
The efforts continue to bring Tampa into the future. The latest plan is the installation of interactive kiosks in downtown Tampa. These kiosks give users information about the area, such as parks and businesses, plus directions. They will begin popping up in Spring of 2021.

The kiosks will not only provide information to anyone who steps up to it, but they will also offer free internet as WiFi hotspots. There will eventually be 30 installed around downtown Tampa.
The Downtown Tampa Partnership made the announcement and the program is being paid for by IKE Smart City, who already has similar kiosks in cities such as St. Louis, Baltimore and San Antonio.
