Ruskin Restaurant Receives $2,020 Tip From Customer
A restaurant in Ruskin got a generous surprise from a customer who was passing along the 2020 Tip Challenge.
This happened at South Shore Pizza in Ruskin. (Someone will need to let us know how their pizza is!) The order cost the customer less than $30. The tip, however, was $2,020. The customer asked that it be split among the employees.
The 2020 Tip Challenge began in January when a server in Michigan received a $2,020 tip on a $23 bill. Since then, others have kept the challenge alive, including Donnie Wahlberg. Though not everyone can afford to tip over $2 thousand, some have continued to keep the challenge going with $20.20 tips.
Here’s a brief history of the 2020 Tip Challenge.
