Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Brings Back Special Events Like Mardi Gras In 2021
We’re not out of this yet, but Busch Gardens will continue to bring the fun events with enhanced health and safety measures.
In 2021, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is planning to bring back the fun of Mardi Gras and more limited-capacity events in the park.
Mardi Gras celebrations at Busch Gardens are planned for weekends and select dates beginning January 16 and running through February 16. Here are some of the ways to enjoy Mardi Gras at Busch Gardens:
Colorful Beads and Brass Beats: It’s the music, the beads and open-air festivities you’d expect in ‘Nawlins’. Performers will periodically stroll through the park tossing beads to the socially-distanced crowds. Lots of room will be available to dance and enjoy the live musicians, food and drinks.
Classic Cajun Cuisine: You’ll feast like Kings and Queens! Mardi Gras-inspired snacks, such as the shrimp po’ boy, jambalaya and fresh beignets, plus the handcrafted drinks will be available. There’s a Sampler Lanyard available for $34.99 which offers 5-punches, or you can upgrade to a 10-punch lanyard to really enjoy the feast! Pass Members also have the option of a 12-punch lanyard. After Mardi Gras, look for more fun with seasonal events.
For the little ones, there’s the Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends, which runs from January 30 through February 14. Your favorite Sesame Street friends will be there.
For the adults, the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Food & Wine Festival runs from February 20 through April 25. You’ll find Drinks, delicious dishes and local musical talent throughout the park.
All of the events will feature the park’s strict health, safety and cleanliness standards.
