JANUARY 13 UPDATE: Publix has announced even more locations will have the vaccine.

Original story from January 12:

Publix announced today that they are doubling the number of locations that will have the COVID-19 vaccine here in Florida, according to the Tampa Bay Times. As of right now, none are in Hillsborough, Pinellas or Pasco County.

Until now, the vaccine has been available at Publix stores in Hernando, Citrus and Marion counties. The new locations with the vaccine will be in the following counties: Bay, Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton. Appointments will be available as soon as tomorrow (January 13, 2021) if you are 65 or older. Go to publix.com/covidvaccine.

The closest locations for Tampa Bay area seniors would be in Brooksville at 19390 Cortez Blvd and Publix stores in Spring Hill (several locations). For the complete list of Publix locations with the vaccine around the state, go here. [Source: Tampa Bay Times]
