So you're saying there's a chance??? What an amazing Super Bowl, but you look at this photo and it sinks in how many people didn't get to enjoy the game in person because of the limitations due to the coronavirus.
We know the pandemic put a damper on some of the economic boost we'd hoped to get from Super Bowl LV. We had a chance to catch up with the Mayor of Tampa on the day after the big game.
Mayor Castor let us know about her conversation with Commissioner Roger Goodell. It's not officially up to him, but he complimented our city on how well we handle Super Bowls. So he is in Tampa's corner. Now it's a matter of seeing whether or not the owner's will vote on it. I like the sound of SB LVIII.
The Mayor also told Fester about a bet wagered between her and the Mayor of Kansas City...looks like Mayor Castor will be enjoying some delicious KC barbeque.
