Giant Python Found In Hardee County
We mean, it was a really big snake. This one wasn’t found in The Everglades.
Zolfo Springs in Hardee County isn’t known as a place to find exotic snakes. However, a man saw something on his family’s property.
He called a family member for help and they shot the snake. It was a Burmese python, and the snake was 16 feet 4 inches long.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said that pythons are breeding in south Florida, but not in areas like Hardee County. They believe this was a snake that was kept in captivity.
