The event ties together seafood and art, but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s event needed to be moved to a new date.
The event had originally been scheduled to take place in February, but will now take place May 22-23. The festival will take place in Waterfront Park.
Officially titled ‘Art & Seafood on the Waterfront’, the art consists of “mixed media, paintings, 3-D artwork, photography, and jewelry” according to the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce. The real star of the event is, of course, seafood!
There will also be entertainment from local marching bands, jazz music, and even the Black Honkeys will perform on the main stage.
There will be social distancing and Covid-19 protocols to help keep guests safe.
The schedule of events is:
Saturday 11 am – 9 pm
Sunday 11 am – 6 pm
