Now this took a lot of thought and preparation…Two women in Orange County wanted to get the coronavirus vaccines as soon as possible.

So what did they do? They dressed up as elderly women in bonnets and glasses. And that’s all it took! Their ruse worked. They were able to get the first shot in the vaccine 2-series.

How did they caught?

Dr. Raul Pino is with the Orange County Florida Department of Health. He said, “We haven’t had any lack of willing arms to get vaccinated. We also have people faking to be old to be vaccinated. So yesterday we realized a couple of young ladies came dressed up as grannies to get vaccinated for the second time, so I don’t know how they escaped the first time but they came (to get) vaccinated. The bonnets, the gloves, the glasses — the whole thing and they probably were in their 20s.”

They had their valid vaccination card when they showed up for their second dose, BUT “there were some issues with their IDs and their driver’s licenses,” Pino said.

No word yet whether or not the women will face charges.
