Florida To Expand Qualifications For Covid-19 Vaccination
The state has officially announced who will qualify next for Covid-19 vaccinations.
Governor DeSantis signed an executive order that expands the eligibility to receive vaccinations. It will now include:
- School staffs (K-12) over 50 years old
- Police Officers over 50 years old
- Firefighters over 50 years old
The date this goes into affect still has yet to be announced.
The Governor also has signed an order that includes Floridians under 65 with “high-risk” medical conditions. That would require a physician’s approval, though the order did not define “high risk”.
