Disney World To Use Phones For Park Entry
Never to shy away from technology, Walt Disney World will soon offer a new service that they say will make visits easier.
The Disney MagicMobile service is a new contact-free replacement for the MagicBand. You’ll use your smart phone for entering the park, for payments, and even for accessing your Walt Disney World Resort room! (Room access is already available through the My Disney Experience app.)
The technology will first be rolled out on iPhones and Apple watches, but other smart devices will be added. Both MagicBands and MagicMobile service will be available for all guests who can even switch between the two. In fact, Disney plans to add more MagicBands with new designs and Disney characters and stories.

Walt Disney World is continuing to add ways that you’ll use your smart phone at the parks and throughout the resort. You can already access your resort room, plus make park reservations and dining reservations using the My Disney Experience app. The app also provides park hours and ride wait times at all of the Walt Disney World resort parks. Side note: give your phone a full charge before you go.
