The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have confirmed the contract extension via Twitter!

Looks like the G.O.A.T., Tom Brady is staying in Tampa Bay even longer thanks to a new contract extension!

Ian Rapoport has tweeted that Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a one-year contract extension.

The #Bucs have agreed to terms on a 1-year extension for QB Tom Brady, sources say, one that gives the Super Bowl champs some cap room and locks Brady in 2022.”

Tom Brady originally signed a two-year deal last year.

Tom Pelissero from NFL Network also reports via Twitter that it’s believed that Brady didn’t even ask for a raise.

“The belief is Tom Brady didn’t ask for a raise even after winning another Super Bowl. His original deal was two years, $50 million plus incentives. This tacks on another year through 2022, plus voidables designed to help the #Bucs‘ cap and try to keep their core together.”
