In order to get visitors to the Pinellas spring break guests to follow Covid-19 guidelines, bribery is the game.
Those bribes will be in the form of a gift. There will be teams from Visit St. Pete/Clearwater who will reward people whose behavior follows the guidelines.
These behaviors include wearing masks, distancing on the beach, sanitizing at businesses and overall, being patient and kind. Those are the easy things to do, and if you’re spotted by the roaming members of Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, you could receive a $25 gift card.
Those who take the pledge in the ‘Rise and Shine’ program at VisitStPeteClearwater.com will be entered for a beach getaway vacation. They will be giving out those gift cards to guests through mid-April.
