With today being National Cheesesteak Day, I wish I could do a countdown like I usually do of my 10 favorite places to go. But with cheesesteaks, there's really only one in Tampa Bay that is worthy of my adoration. You have to Dunedin to visit Delco's.

You know a cheesesteak place is legit if you can get it "With Whiz." The magic of Cheez Whiz became apparently when I had my first real Philly Cheesesteak about 10 years ago.
Finally! All of you over on the Hillsborough side have had Portillo's hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, cheese fries and chocolate cake shakes all to yourself. Now St. Pete has its own Portillo's. Opening in just a few days at the corner of 66th and Tyrone Boulevard, the new location has a retro vibe with some Florida palm tree flavor mixed in. Take a look inside - we got invited to take a peek!
The first Portillo's in Pinellas!

What do you put on your hot dog?

Remember your number...

It's ready. Let's eat.

I went with everything on it... even celery salt and I hate celery. But it was awesome.

Everyone loves the Italian Beef and Hot Dogs... I think Portillo's has the most underrated burgers in Tampa.

Hungry yet?

Portillo's fries... missing one thing.

Dip those bad boys in cheese!

Gotta finish it off with the famous chocolate cake....

The retro theme... including a real old fashioned jukebox.

What do you wanna hear?

Welcome to Pinellas, finally!
