Tampa Woman Latest $1 Million Winner From Florida Lottery

A Tampa woman becomes latest to win big from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

We've had some good luck in the Tampa Bay area over the past few weeks. This woman has won the top prize in "The Fastest Road To $1,000,000" game from the Florida Lottery. The game is a $30 scratch-off ticket.

Susan Getty, a 65-year-old from Tampa, won the $1 million top prize and popped the ticket into a secured drop box at Florida Lottery Headquarters. She chose to take the one-time payment of $790,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 5371 Ehrlich Road in Tampa. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket. There were 155 total top $1,000,000 prizes in the game. At the latest update from Florida Lottery, there are 69 remaining.
