Officially announced by the theme park, thrill-ride lovers can plan their opportunity to ride one of the biggest and fastest roller coasters.

Universal Orlando made the announcement that June 10, 2021, they will present Jurassic World Velocicoaster. Located at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, it’s not your run-of-the-mill theme park ride. The ride is intense. It’s tall. It’s fast. Here’s what you need to know.

The Jurassic World Velocicoaster soars up to 155 feet high. You’ll be catapulted to speeds reaching 70 miles per hour! This adventure takes you through the raptor paddock with the Velociraptors. You may even come face-to-face with some hungry ones. It’s a high-speed chase over 4,700 feet of track. The ride also features Universal’s steepest drop on any ride, which is nearly straight down!

Universal continues enhanced health and safety procedures. Screening guests and employees, social distancing, and requiring wearing masks is still in force. Also, limiting time inside their theme parks, attractions and hotels, and aggressive cleaning and disinfection procedures are being used. Universal Pay, and contact-free method of payment through the Universal Orlando App is also available.
