It was a wager set up by a Tampa Bay Ray. Now Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have chimed in through Twitter.

Tampa Bay Ray Brett Phillips threw a wager to former teammate Salvador Perez, who plays for the Kansas City Royals. If the Bucs won the Super Bowl, Perez would need to wear a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey during batting practice when the Tampa Bay Rays visited. If the Chiefs had won, Phillips would have had to wear a Kansas City Chiefs jersey.

We know how that went, and the Rays have visited Kansas City. Here are the Tweets that resulted.

The Kansas City Royals Tweeted a video of Salvador Perez, who kept his end of the wager. In the video, Perez still voices who he likes.

Tom Brady responded.

Patrick Mahomes then checked in on Twitter with some words of his own.
