Tampa, St. Pete, Lutz and Tarpon Springs High Schools Make US News & World Report Best List

U.S. News and World Report is out with its ratings for the best high schools in the state. Of the 24,000 U.S. public high schools in the country that made their rankings, 602 were in Florida.

The school that came in 2nd place statewide is in Osprey, just south of Sarasota. The report found that Pine View School has a 100% graduation rate and a college readiness score of 99.2%. Nationally, the school came in at #29.

Plant High School in Tampa also made the list, coming in at #38 with at 96% graduation rate and 66.2 college readiness score. Other schools that made the Top 100 on the list include Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School, Sickles High School, and Robinson High School all in Tampa, Steinbrenner High School in Lutz, St. Petersburg Collegiate High School, and East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs.   If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

  If you missed them in Tampa, you have one more chance to see the Rolling Stones when the Hackney Diamonds '24 tour comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. And if you miss this show, you'll have to catch them on one of their future tours over the next few decades... because even though the show is sponsored by AARP, the Stones show no signs of slowing down.

  The concert was originally set for March 26. Cher hoped to reschedule, but given the uncertainty of how long we'll be dealing with coronavirus, she has decided to cancel the show so fans can get refunds.
