Tampa, Orlando Among Top Moving Destinations In U.S.
A report by Penske Truck Leasing noted some changes from previous years in the top 10 cities to which people had relocated in 2020.
Based upon the one-way truck rentals, Penske was able to put together a clear list of where people were moving. The #1 city on the list wasn’t in the top 10 for the previous year. In fact, there were quite a few changes in this year’s list.
Charleston, Raleigh and Nashville, each of which made the 2019 list, dropped off the list. Three cities were new to this year’s list: San Antonio, Dallas and the city that topped the list, Las Vegas. Last year’s top city, Phoenix, fell to #2. Rounding out the top three was Denver.
The Florida cities that made this year’s list are Orlando, which fell from #5 to #7, and Tampa. Tampa had been #3 in 2019, but fell to #10 this year.
