First Toilet Paper, Now Gas… Next A Chick-fil-A Sauce Shortage?

Most are saying everyone buying gas in a panic is unnecessary. That’s not stopping Floridians from lining up and waiting up from 30 minutes to an hour to get to a pump. But there might be a shortage on the horizon that is even more pressing.

Most are saying everyone buying gas in a panic is unnecessary. That's not stopping Floridians from lining up and waiting up from 30 minutes to an hour to get to a pump. The governor declared a state of emergency over the situation as we wait to see if the pipeline hack is going to have any serious impact on our lives next week.

But one shortage definitely is cause for concert for fried chicken lovers. CNN reports that Chick-fil-A is running low on their dipping sauces. Now take a deep breath. You can still dip those nuggets in that Sweet & Spicy Sriracha. But maybe not for long. They say many restaurants are limiting customers to one dipping sauce cup per item ordered.

The shortage has even prompted a response from a Chick-fil-A spokesperson that said they are "actively working to make adjustments to solve this issue quickly." Hope so! The cause of the problem: same issue other industries are facing - a labor shortage and supply chain issues since trucks and drivers are in high demand. On the plus side, Chick-fil-A says there is no shortage of chicken from their suppliers like some other restaurants are dealing with. [Source: CNN]
