Another winner from our backyard! A Pinellas County won big from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Roger Smith, 56, of Seminole must be very happy! He won $1 million in the "200X The Cash" game from the Florida Lottery. The game is a $20 scratch-off ticket.
Smith claimed his prize at the Florida lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to take the one-time payment of $890,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sadid Food Mart, located at 7790 Ridge Road in Seminole. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket. The "200X The Cash" game launched in September of 2020, and according to FlaLottery.com, there were 10 $5 million prizes available, two of which remain. There are also prizes ranging from $20 to $1,000,000.
