Pinellas County Park On 2021 Top Beaches In U.S. From Dr. Beach

Each year, close to Memorial Day Weekend, Dr. Beach announces his annual list. Two Florida beaches made the list for 2021.

Dr. Beach, Stephen P. Leatherman, began his list of top U.S. beaches in 1989. Several Florida beaches have made the list over the past few years. They include Siesta Beach, Grayton Beach State Park and Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park in Bonita Springs. Caladesi Island State Park has been making regular appearances on the list.

Here’s the 2021 Top 10 Beach List.

10 Coast Guard Beach, Cape Cod, Massachusetts
9 Beachwalker Park, Kiawah Island, South Carolina
8 Coronado Beach, San Diego, California
7 Caladesi Island State Park, Dunedin, Florida
6 Duke Kahanamoku Beach, Oahu, Hawaii
5 Lighthouse Beach, Buxton, Outer Banks of North Carolina
4 St. George Island State Park, Florida Panhandle
3 Ocracoke Lifeguarded Beach, Outer Banks of North Carolina
2 Coopers Beach, Southampton, New York
1 Hapuna Beach State Park, Big Island Hawai’i
