Michelle was driving in South Tampa over the weekend and had to swerve out of the road to avoid this trailer hitch. This hunk of 10 pound metal could cause some serious damage. Michelle got out of the car to pick it up so nobody else would hit it. MJ noticed there's no pin attached the back of the hitch. That could explain why it fell off of whatever vehicle it was apart of.
Hopefully this thing didn't cause damage to anyone else on the road. Especially since there is a lot of construction on Tampa Bay roadways, it's always good to keep an eye out for road hazards just like this.
Now there's one less trailer hitch on the roads of South Tampa. It looks like it could be apart of something meant to tow lots of heavy stuff. Could it have come from a food truck?
