Knight/Beasley

If you were wondering why 275 southbound was closed this morning, Fox 13 reports Tampa police were investigating an incident that happened late last night. They're still trying to piece together what exactly happened, but they say a man in his 20s is dead after someone shot him at about 11:30pm last night (Tuesday). His blue 2015 Dodge vehicle was found crashed into the center guardrail near the Fowler exit of I-275. The car had several bullet holes. The driver had a gunshout wound on his upper body. They say he was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Lanes reopened this morning southbound on 275 just before 7am but Tampa police say they are still investigating. Anyone who might have seen something last night or has information is asked to call 1-800-873-8477. [Source: Fox 13]
