If you’ve driven by St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport lately, you’ve no doubt seen all the construction all along Ulmerton. The airport keeps growing and now they’ve announced some new flights north of the border.
Starting this fall, a new airline named Swoop will fly to two Canadian cities, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. On November 5, non-stop flights will begin to Toronto Pearson International Airport. A few days later on November 9, they’ll have their first flight from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport in Hamilton, Ontario.
Flight service will be offered two to three times a week so you can’t get picky about what day or time of the day to fly. And there’s unfortunately no Montreal service yet… but hopefully that’ll change if these routes are popular. Here are some pics from my visit to Montreal (and Boston) from a couple years ago. As you can see, I ate well!
