Two new routes were announced by Allegiant Airlines that will serve the northeast and midwest.
Flights to Wichita, Kansas, will be offered from St. Pete-Clearwater twice per week. Flights to Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport begin November 19. Tom Jewsbury, Director of St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport said in a release:
“We are delighted to welcome Wichita, Kansas to our growing non-stop routes and show our friends from the Midwest our brand of sunshine and smiles here in beautiful St. Pete-Clearwater."
Allegiant also announced flights from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport twice per week to Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C. This route will begin December 18. In a press release from Allegiant, Rick Piccolo, President and CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport said:
"We are excited to see Allegiant continue to expand the number of destinations offiered at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. The Washington D.C. area is a popular destination for both business and leisure travelers, and we look forward to having this new low-cost, convenient choice at SRQ."
