If you’re going to Tampa’s ‘Boom by the Bay’, there will be an added feature that will help experience the festivities.

For July 4th, if you want to avoid the traffic around the downtown Tampa fun, this is what Hillsborough County has added. Pick up the shuttle from the Marion Transit Center. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Two routes from the Marion Transit Center will get you where you want to go. The north shuttle route’s stops: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts and Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. The south shuttle route’s stops: Whiting Station, which connects revelers to the TECO Streetcars, which gets you to the Tampa Convention Center and Sparkman Wharf.

“Boom by the Bay” will feature Tampa’s largest fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Click here for full details.

On the Pinellas County side of the bay, join us at BayCare Ballpark Sunday night for Clearwater Celebrates America, or click here for a list of fireworks celebrations all over the Tampa Bay area.
