Some people may suddenly decide to clean their house more carefully once they read this.

Kenneth Morgan, 54, of Jacksonville, stumbled upon a Powerball ticket while cleaning.
He told the Florida Lottery:

“I was cleaning the house on the fourth of July when I found the POWERBALL ticket in a drawer. I checked the numbers and discovered it was a $1 million winner – I’m still in shock!”

Morgan found the ticket from the April 17, 2021 drawing. It matched all five white ball numbers, but didn’t match the Powerball. The winning ticket was worth $1 million. He claimed his winnings at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

The ticket was purchased at Publix Liquor Store, located at 12620 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville. The store will get $1,000 for selling the ticket.
