To honor the Tampa Bay Lightning's victory in the Stanley Cup Finals, Coors Light has come out with a limited-edition beer. It's made from ice from the rink at Amalie Arena.
Coors has been scraping and collecting ice from the rink during the finals and taking it to its brewery in Golden, Colorado. They filtered and purified the ice water using "reverse osmosis membrane ultrafiltration technology". That ice water will then be blended into the Coors Light brew to create their Champions Ice brew.
Beginning the week of July 12th, Coors Light Champions Ice can be purchased at participating Tampa Bay bars. You can visit ChampionsIce.com to find participating locations.
