Brandon Mall Adding 11 New Stores And Food Outlets

It’s a good sign to see new stores opening in a mall. Westfield Brandon Towncenter is adding some new retail and dining locations.

The latest additions to Westfield Brandon Town Center include:

• Mintwist: Juice Bar
• FYE: Movies, music and other entertainment
• Avis Car Rental
• Adore Cosmetics
• Swaidan: New urban styles clothing
• Luxx Vanity
• Dream Diamonds: Jeweler
• Re-Bath: Bathroom remodeling company
• Charlotte Russe: Clothing and accessories
• The Pampered Peach: Wax bart that leaves skin smooth
• DAZ Hijab: Hijabs, clothing and accessories

In a press release, Dawn Arvidson, Marketing Director for Westfield said:

“We are thrilled to welcome eleven diverse retail options at Westfield Brandon. The addition of so many national, regional and local favorites demonstrate how Westfield Brandon is a premier shopping center that offers brands and experiences our customers crave. We are excited to offer more experiential and service offerings that make the center a one-stop destination for our guests.”

• July 21: REO Speedwagon

  It'll be a fun night with 40 years of iconic Q105 hits like "Take It On The Run," "Can't Fight This Feeling," and "Keep On Loving You." Kevin Cronin has been with the band since 1972 and is still going strong. Tickets are $53.25, $63.25, $88.25, and $108.25.

  Lindsey Buckingham plays Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. Now departed from Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey recently announced his first solo LP in 10 years will be out in September. The album’s first single is called “I Don’t Mind.”

  Motley Crue's frontman is going solo this year since The Stadium Tour has been pushed back again. The show will be at the new Hard Rock Event Center in Tampa. Great White (but with Mitch Malloy as lead singer) opens.

  If you've been to a Buffett show, you know the real show isn't on stage, it's in the crowd. This will be the 3rd attempt at making this concert happened. Jimmy had shoulder surgery that postponed the concert in 2019. Then our friend COVID-19 meant a postponement of the rescheduled 2020 concert at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

• June 18 & 19: Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett

  Miami's show will be on June 18. The next night the tour comes to Orlando. Then the tour moves north but comes back to Florida for a show in Jacksonville on July 2. Unfortunately still no word of any Tampa dates for the tour.

  This is the rescheduled date for the show that was originally scheduled for August 2020 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

• February 16: Rod Stewart

  A rare chance to see an intimate performance with Rod at the Hard Rock Event Center in Tampa. The last time Rod played the room, he walked out on stage and saw the small audience and jokingly asked if he was getting his normal fee.

• June 3: The Rolling Stones

  If you missed them in Tampa, you have one more chance to see the Rolling Stones when the Hackney Diamonds '24 tour comes to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. And if you miss this show, you'll have to catch them on one of their future tours over the next few decades... because even though the show is sponsored by AARP, the Stones show no signs of slowing down.
• Cancelled: Cher

  The concert was originally set for March 26. Cher hoped to reschedule, but given the uncertainty of how long we'll be dealing with coronavirus, she has decided to cancel the show so fans can get refunds.
