House from ’90s ‘My Girl’ in Polk County Tops Realtor.com
Anyone else just find out that this house is only an hour from Tampa?
The iconic house from the 1991 movie My Girl starring Anna Chlumsky and Macaulay Culkin was the number one house on Realtor.com last week. The house sits right here in the Tampa Bay area.
The listing originally went up on July 6 for the home on 555 E Stanford St. in Bartow. According to Realtor.com, the house received “tens of thousands of clicks” after it was put on the market.
While the house definitely looked spacious on the big screen, it might even seem bigger in person. The Victorian style home built in 1906 has 8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, and even a 50-foot pool. The 9,500 square foot house was most recently used as a bed and breakfast.
