Since winning American Idol in 2014, Caleb Johnson's tour resume has been pretty varied. He's performed with everyone from Trans Siberian Orchestra to Kiss. In addition, he's had a few solo projects. These days, he's touring with Meat Loaf's band Neverland Express, performing Meat Loaf's biggest iconic hits like "Bat Out of Hell," "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" and "I Would Do Anything for Love." The tour comes to the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater this Saturday, August 21.

I had a chance to chat with Caleb. We talked about his ups and downs as a solo artist since winning American Idol, his relationship with fellow Idol alum Chris Daughtry and which Meat Loaf songs are the biggest challenge. We even talked '80s hairbands like Skid Row and making Jennifer Lopez head bang heavy metal style!

Tickets for Saturday night's concert are priced at $65, $55 and $39 are available by visiting www.RuthEckerdHall.com. Tickets may also be purchased by calling The Raymond James Central Ticket Office at Ruth Eckerd Hall at 727.791.7400, Tuesday through Saturday noon to 4pm.
