In addition, he's had a few solo projects. These days, he's touring with Meat Loaf's band Neverland Express, performing Meat Loaf's biggest iconic hits like "Bat Out of Hell," "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" and "I Would Do Anything for Love." The tour comes to the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater this Saturday, August 21.
I had a chance to chat with Caleb. We talked about his ups and downs as a solo artist since winning American Idol, his relationship with fellow Idol alum Chris Daughtry and which Meat Loaf songs are the biggest challenge. We even talked '80s hairbands like Skid Row and making Jennifer Lopez head bang heavy metal style!
