Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy Delivers Baby in Valrico 7-Eleven Parking Lot

While many were still sound asleep in bed, a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputy helped deliver a baby in a 7-Eleven parking early Tuesday morning.
911 dispatchers received a call around 5:30 a.m. from a man claiming this his wife was going in to labor in a 7-Eleven parking lot. According to the sheriff’s office, the man said he and his wife couldn’t make it to the hospital.
When deputies arrived, Deputy Jordan Ream sprang in to action to assist the woman who was going in to labor.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says the mother and the newborn baby born are doing well.
Having given birth to to children, I can attest to the fact that they arrive when they are ready. My first child seemed perfectly content staying in there. I was in labor for 17 hours. And the second baby jumped right out. A handful of pushes. This new baby born in the 7-11 parking lot was ready to jump into the world.
