James Taylor, Jackson Browne Coming To Tampa’s Amalie Arena
The legendary singer/songwriter is returning to Tampa, and he’s not alone.
James Taylor and His All-Star Band are coming to Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Thursday, November 11 for a 7:30 p.m. show. He’ll be here with special guest and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jackson Browne. Tickets go on sale for the concert on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
James Taylor has an array of self-penned hits, including “Fire and Rain” and “You’ve Got A Friend.” He also is well known for some of his covers, such as “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” and “Handy Man.” Taylor has recorded 20 studio albums over 40 years and has sold more than 100 million albums. His Greatest Hits album sold over 10 million copies.
James Taylor recieved the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015, and a Kennedy Center Honor in 2016.
Touring with Taylor, Jackson Browne has sold over 18 million albums in the U.S.A. Another legendary singer/songwriter, Browne has many hits of his own. “Doctor My Eyes,” “Running on Empty” and “Somebody’s Baby,” just to name a few. He also wrote songs for others, including “Take It Easy” by The Eagles.
