The building that will be the home of ‘Sesh’ is a former Melting Pot restaurant, and apparently, it has a haunted past.

Sesh is a new restaurant being opened by the owners of Mad Beach Brewing. Sesh is short for ‘session,’ which the restaurant defines as “A period of time partaking in an enjoyable activity.”

According to the Facebook page of Sesh, they’ve heard of ‘paranormal activity’ on the grounds of the site of the new restaurant. Paranormal investigators will be brought in to check out the location.

One of the parts of the old building the owners love about the location on 4th St. North is a brick chimney. Also, according to their Facebook page, the bricks came from Ft. Dade on Egmont Key nearly 100 years ago. The chimney will tower over the new beer garden, while the interior will feature the brick that was hidden behind wood panels.
