The Tampa Theatre is bringing back ‘parkCINEMA’ with a sci fi classic.

Join Tampa Theatre at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for parkCINEMA. The free event is screening “Star Wars: A New Hope” on Saturday, September 18 at 8 p.m.

The event is free and open to all ages. It’s an outdoor screening, so the Tampa Theatre encourages picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs. They also encourage responsible social distancing during the event.

Admission is free, but there is an RSVP requested. Click here to register your party. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is located at 600 North Ashley Drive in Tampa.

This early trailer already said it would be “the most extraordinary motion picture of all time.”
