Disney Confirms Return Of Christmas Tradition
Walt Disney World continues to bring back entertainment, events and experiences. Here’s the latest, and it’s something that many have been wanting to see return.
There are several parts to this announcement. This is something that takes place at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
First, EPCOT will see the return of the “Candlelight Processional” which has been taking place at the park since 1994. Previously, it had been at Magic Kingdom, and at Disneyland beginning in 1958. It will run at EPCOT from November 26 through December 30 at the America Gardens Theatre in the World Showcase. The show will feature the full orchestra and choir.
Second, the tradition at EPCOT has also featured cast members and community groups and schools. Sadly, with the return, community groups and schools won’t be included, so there will be an expanded cast choir. Disney is hoping to return to having those guest choirs next year.

Third, what we don’t know yet is though there will be celebrity narrators, it’s too early to know the full schedule of those celebrity narrators. We’ll need to wait for Disney to release that information. We also don’t know the details on the “Candlelight Processional” dining packages. Those dining packages usually provide some of the best seating for the performances included with the offer.
