Football is back. Hockey is right around the corner. You're sipping that pumpkin spiced latte but that doesn't mean much when it comes to Florida weather. Labor Day was weeks ago and temperatures are starting to chill up north, but here in Florida, our extended summer continues with temperatures hovering around 90.

Is the end in sight? He's not taking the weather models too seriously since it's still 2 weeks away, but Paul Dellegatto from Fox 13 says September 30 could be the first little bit of cool weather we'll see in Florida. The big question is... if this cool system happens the way the computers think it will, will it only be North Florida that sees the break in the heat? Right now, northern Florida could wake up to temperatures that day in the 40s and 50s.

Escaping Florida Heat in October
