Had a chance to meet Dave Bautista a couple of years ago. Dave's a big teddy bear in real life.

But don't mess with animals...you'll bring out his beast side. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star has said that he will provide a reward for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest of a (to quote Dave) "sick piece of $#*&" who hurt a puppy.

It all started last week when the Humane Society of Tampa Bay put up an Instagram post that showed a little, adorable puppy named Sage who was discovered with a metal chin stuck into her neck.

According to the Humane Society, “A Good Samaritan was driving on the way home, and saw Sage eating garbage at 'The Home Cemetery.' She stopped and Sage immediately ran up to her. She put Sage in the car and rushed over to HSTB.”

Sage is being cared for now and having her medical issues, also including overgrown nails and skin issues, treated.

Bautista stated in a an Instagram post, “ATTN Tampa Bay: I will personally hand $5000 cash to the person who gives information leading to the arrest and conviction of the sick piece of shit responsible for this."
