Manatee County Man Becomes $1 Million Florida Lottery Winner
With the purchase of a $5 lottery scratch-off ticket, someone claimed a top prize!
Reginald Fields, 33, of Bradenton, played a $5 Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off game. He won the $1 million top prize. Reginald claimed the lump sum payment of $880,000 at the Tampa District Office of the Florida Lottery.
He purchased the ticket at K & S Food Mart, located at 2615 9th St. W. in Bradenton. The store will receive a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket. There are now 6 of the 24 top prizes remaining in the $5 Gold Rush Supreme game.
The $5 Gold Rush Supreme game began in January. It has prizes ranging from $5 to $1,000,000. Overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-3.97. Non-winning tickets can also be entered into a second chance drawing.
