Publix To Hire 30,000 Employees In 2021
One of the largest employers in Florida, Publix is now in seven states. They now plan to increase their staff.
Publix is looking to fill positions in their ‘stores, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities for nonseasonal positions’. Hiring is expected to happen in all seven states in the remainder of the 4th Quarter, before the end of 2021.
In a press release, Publix VP of Human Resources Marcy Benton said:
“As we continue to grow, having a dedicated team ready to meet our needs is vitally important, whether associates are new to the workforce or making a career change. Publix provides great benefits and a strong culture in which its associates build long, fulfilling careers.”
In their press release, Publix continued to list their employee stock ownership plan, stock purchase plan and tuition reimbursement benefits offered to their associates. The company also uses a dedicated program focused on health and wellness of associates.
