Alert Tampa says supplies are ready to provide a booster to four major eligible groups to slow the spread of COVID-19. Vaccination boosters are available at the Lee Davis Community Center at 3402 North 22nd Street in Tampa from 9am to 5pm daily. No appointment is required. They are offer first and second doses as well of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. There is no cost and you do not need health insurance to get the vaccine. [Source: Alert Tampa]

Eligible groups for the vaccine booster shots as of today (October 4, 2021) are:

– Individuals aged 65 or older
– Individuals aged 18 and up who have an underlying medical condition
– Residents who live in a long-term care facility
– Adults 18 and up who are at an increased risk because of their job or are in an institutional setting

Those residents needing a ride to get the booster can board a Hart Route 12 bus to get to the Lee Davis Community Center.
