BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA - MARCH 26: George Hollins buys a Powerball ticket at the Shell Gateway store on March 26, 2019 in Boynton Beach, Florida. After dozens of drawings, there is finally a Powerball winner. There hadn’t been a winner since early June. Someone bought a ticket in California that had all the right numbers and has won $700 million. It’s the 7th largest jackpot in U.S. history. But a Florida player almost got in on the money too.
Bay News 9 reports that someone in Florida picked the first five right numbers but missed on the Powerball, which was 15. Imagine being sad you only won $1 million? So congratulations to that lucky Californian. Hey wait. I wonder if Tom Brady bought a ticket before he left the west coast? [Source: BN9]
