Argument at Clearwater Fast Food Restaurant Ends With One Person Shot

Not many details are available yet but investigators are on the scene in Clearwater where this morning Fox 13 reports a shooting happened at about 7:45am. They say there was some kind of argument inside the Chick-fil-A at 2516 Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. By the end of the argument, one person was shot. The good news is the bullet hit the leg. Fox 13 says the person shot was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa and should be ok as reports say the injuries are not life threatening.

There’s no word yet about what the argument was about. Nor is it clear if the argument was among customers or if any employees were involved. Clearwater Police tweeted a short time ago that a suspect is in custody. [Source: Fox 13]
