A Largo woman was arrested on Saturday after she allegedly threw tacos at her mother's head during a heated confrontation.
According to Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Braiden Lankford was arguing with her 50-year-old mother about the the state of cleanliness of their home. Apparently, Lankford became upset about the situation. She then threw tacos at her mother who was sitting on the couch, according to a police report.
When police arrived, they say food particles were all over the couch and the back of the mother's shirt. Police say Lankford confessed to being frustrated at the situation, but didn't mean to hit her mother with the tacos. The arrest affidavit says the mother was not injured by the flying tacos.
Lankford was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor and domestic battery. She was released Sunday on a $100 and a judge has ordered to have no contact with her mother.
