
Wrong-way drivers have been a nuisance in the Tampa Bay area. Now locals will be able to help out with a new program.
Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) is still looking for volunteers to help test 'connected vehicle technology' in Tampa. This technology will be used to lower the chances of crashes, improve traffic conditions, and alert drivers of wrong-way drivers.
THEA is looking for volunteers who drive a Honda, Acura, Toyota, Kia, or Hyundai. To see if your vehicle qualifies, you can take the survey here.
